There are 8 Bandas (some are standard while others are deluxe bandas), each decorated with stone walls and papyrus roof in an authentic spirit of the Bafumbira people, featuring en-suite bathroom with hot and cold shower, bedside table with lighting, flush eco-toilets, private terrace to relish the natural beauty of their surroundings, fireplace, safe, butler service for all visitors and so much more. All the bandas are linked to the main Lodge building with neat and well-manicured pathways.

Access to Mount Gahinga Lodge
Set in the south-western part of Uganda (at the foothills of Virunga Volcanoes), guests can get to Mount Gahinga Lodge by air-one hour flight from Entebbe International Airport (Kajjansi Airstrip) to Kisoro then 30 minutes’ drive. The road trip from Kampala or Entebbe to this Lodge is about 8-10 hours.
